4-Circuit, 3+D

Features:

4-Circuit
  • 3 circuits share 10 Ga. neutral, allowing for three-phase current cancellation for high-power efficiency.
  • a shared 10Ga. neutral to manage harmonics
  • one isolated-ground circuit for specific equipment.
  • 80 amps, 4 circuit/8 wire situations
  • 60 amps, 3 circuit/5 wire situations

Application: Appropriate when building standard is 208y/120 volt power distribution (common neutral for three circuits) and an additional circuit is desirable or needed for specific equipment such as a personal computer, or an isolated-ground circuit is required.

3-Circuit, Shared Neutral

Features:

3 Circuit
  • 3 circuits share 10 Ga. neutral, allowing for three-phase current cancellation and high-power efficiency
  • a shared 10Ga. neutral to manage harmonics
  • one building-ground circuit
  • 60 amps, 3 circuit/5 wire situations

Application: Appropriate when the most effective interface with a 208y/120 volt power distribution system is desired.

3-Circuit, Separate Neutral

Features:

3 Circuit
  • 3 circuits, each circuit having its own neutral
  • up to 3 isolated-ground circuits
  • one building-ground circuit
  • 60 amps, 3 circuit/8 wire situations

Application: Appropriate when either a 240y/120 volt or 208y/120volt power distribution system exists and separate neutral circuits are required.

4-Circuit, 3I+1

Features:

4 Circuit
  • 3 circuits share 10Ga. Neutral, allowing for three-phase cancellation of electronic current for high-power efficiency
  • a shared 10 Ga. neutral to manage harmonics
  • one circuit for general purpose use
  • 3 isolated building-ground circuits
  • 80 amps, 4 circuit/8 wire situations
  • 60 amps, 3 circuit/5 wire situations

Application: Appropriate in areas where a high concentration of technology products (computers, printers) are needed, minimal amounts of conventional equipment exists and isolated grounding is of primary concern.

4-Circuit, 2+2

Features:

4 Circuit
  • 2 circuits share 10 Ga. neutral and some current cancellation for moderate power efficiency
  • a shared 10 Ga. neutral to manage harmonics
  • 2 building-ground circuits for general purpose use
  • 2 isolated-ground circuits
  • 80 amps, 4 circuit/8 wire situations

Application: Appropriate in areas where moderate amounts of technology products are used, and where separation from other circuits and isolated grounding are required.
