B&OI’s vision is to effectively integrate people, process, technology and space. Our commitment to technology is an example of our vision in action.

We integrate technology from the design and specification process through CAD/CAP linking to the Steelcase proprietary system; Hedberg, which has EDI efficiencies throughout the transfer of information from specification to materials list, is used to purchase and invoice orders. This creates error free order entry and other efficiencies that would assist both your project and B&OI.

In addition, the Internet is accessible to our associates via an high-speed connection at all times. This enables our associates to research the best possible workspace solutions for our customers’ with ease.

Finally, our associates are linked through a local and wide area network. The B&OI Intranet (hosted in-house) has streamlined and increased the efficiency for many of our processes. Employees are updated, in real-time, on new corporate policies, training opportunities, and industry-related information. In addition, a variety of reports are available on-line. Some of these reports detail the status of asset management inventories, punchlist items, and customer satisfaction
