Exam Rooms and Consultation Areas

Exam / Consultation

Our Care Environments team recognizes that every hospital and clinic is different and requires furniture solutions designed for their specific needs. Breakthroughs in technology, communication systems and processes have led us to think about how the patients are positioned in relation to the caregiver; how we can make documentation and the communication of information easier.

Care Environments furniture solutions merge the convenience of traditional casegoods with the flexibility of modular furniture. Our casegood solutions can be combined in multiple configurations including: storage, seating, desk, display, and even a sink unit to support various activities.

A variety of monitor arms, wall mounting and mobile computer station solutions are also available -- providing ease of access to input and display of information. Room Wizard, mounted outside by the door, serves as a web-based scheduling system that can keep track of space utilization.

The need for infection control is important. Our casegood solutions support this by the ease of cleaning and maintenance with banded edges and solid surface tops. Many of our fabric solutions are stain resistant, anti-microbial while serving as fluid barriers, yet are still soft to touch.

We also have a variety of ergonomic caregiver, guest and patient seating, including seating in bariatric sizes.

Intensa Complete Physician Room

Intensa's Complete Physician Room (CPR) program provides all the medical furniture needs in the exam room area and the ability to add aesthetics through the design process. This transforms any exam room into an environment that both meets the needs of the caregiver and increases the patient's comfort.

Accommodating. Intensa provides a variety of exam tables -- from the basic H-brace style to barrier-free units-- that allow for the caretaking of mobility challenged or geriatric patients; and, for easy wheelchair transfers.

Affordable. The standard box table comes in three different options to meet budgetary needs.

Flexible. With a variety of seating options, you can pair an exam stool with a patient guest chair (that has wall saving features) to coordinate with the colors of the modular casework.
